Freshwater SLSC – Review of Club Constitution 2026

Members,

There is a requirement for the Club Constitution to be reviewed on a regular basis – at a minimum this is required every ten(10) years.

The current Club Constitution is dated December 2016.

Members of the Club Governance Panel for Season 2025/2026 have undertaken a review in Quarter 4 2025 of the current Constitution and provided some updates for Club Members to review and provide comments/updates to.

It is intended that an updated Constitution is presented at the Club Annual General Meeting on the Sunday 28 June 2026 for amendment and approval.

To assist in the review members of the Governance Panel will be available at the Club between 10.00am to 11.00am on Sunday 12 April and Sunday 19 April 2026 to discuss any comments/questions raised by Members for further consideration.

On Sunday 26 April (from 5.00pm) there is an End of Season Function for Club Members to recognise the end (almost) of the Season.

From 4.00pm there will be an opportunity for interested Members to meet in a meeting/forum to raise any points.

Post this meeting it is intended that a final updated document is circulated and then provided as part of the Notice of AGM in late May 2026.

Two(2) electronic copies (one copy containing “track changes”) on the club website via the below button is linked to the documents.

Paper copies of these two documents are available from the Club Office.

Below is a brief summary of the changes proposed;
