Freshie Nippers – What a Huge Few Weeks!

Our Nippers have been incredibly busy over the past few weekends, and what a fantastic run it’s been for the club!

🏅 Branch Titles – 5th–8th February | Queenscliff

A massive congratulations to all our Freshie Nippers who competed at the Branch Titles at Queenscliff. The team delivered some outstanding performances, bringing home plenty of medals and proudly finishing 4th overall in the point score — an amazing achievement!

But beyond the podium finishes, what stood out most was the incredible spirit on display — smiles all round, true camaraderie, and sportsmanship that reflects everything Freshie stands for.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, officials, water safety teams and coaches. Events like this simply don’t happen without your time, energy and dedication.

🌊 Club Championships – 15th February

Despite some gloomy skies, nothing could dampen the Freshie spirit at our Club Championships! It was fantastic to see such strong participation across all age groups.

Congratulations to our age champions and place-getters — and an even bigger congratulations to every single Nipper who got involved and gave it their all. That’s what it’s all about.

🔥 U14 BBQ Fundraiser

A big thank you to our U14s and their parents for hosting the BBQ — and to everyone who came down and supported them. Your efforts and community spirit are what make Freshie so special. We truly appreciate the time and energy that goes into making these fundraisers such a success.

🚔 Special Visit from NSW Marine Police

On Sunday we were lucky to welcome the Marine Area Command NSW patrol boat to Freshwater!

Some very lucky U12 Nippers had the incredible opportunity to board the police vessel, enjoy a guided tour, chat with the officers, ask plenty of questions, and learn more about the important work they do on the water.

It was a fantastic experience and a great learning opportunity for our young lifesavers. A huge thank you to the Marine Area Command team for making it happen.

🏆 NSW State Titles – Good Luck Team Freshie!

Best of luck to all our Nippers heading to the NSW State Surf Life Saving Championships at Swansea Belmont this weekend.

We are so proud of you already and know you’ll represent Freshie with the same determination, sportsmanship and team spirit we’ve seen all season. Go out there, give it your best, and most importantly — enjoy the experience!

Once again, we cannot thank enough the many people working tirelessly behind the scenes to make these events possible. Freshie is built on community, and we’re so grateful to everyone who contributes.
